A Politicians Plea

Please vote for me--
Can't you see,
My smile is bright and sunny?
Don't vote for him;
His chance is slim,
He'll only spend your money!
He's so uncouth,
Can't tell the truth;
His morals are appalling!
You know I pray,
Most every day,
Because my rating's falling!
Don't trust the press;
They're such a mess--
Please don't believe their lies!
It's such a sin
If I don't win;
A vote for me is wise!
