When
I first started including teddy bear pictures in with my flower pictures
I wasn't sure what the reaction would be. From my stats, internet
surfers loved them so I'm bringing them back and I'll be sure to add
more new ones this summer.
I'm also happy to report these are the only bears that have been seen
roaming my garden. - boo
I've
always enjoyed taking pictures of the garden, but I also find it fun to
tuck teddy bears into the flowers. The pictures I have taken are
mostly of my garden and I was lucky enough, to have a neighbor with a
wonderful bear collection.
A majority of the teddy bears used in these photos are Steiff Teddy Bears
and artist made bears. They are very cute to begin with, but I think
they look adorable posing in the garden.
Quick tips on taking teddy bear pictures:
Before
you take your treasured bear outdoors:
The
best time for taking pictures of your teddy bears is afternoon.
Yes, the lightening is better in the morning but the damp dew can
really make a mess on mohair.
Overcasts
days rule when it comes to taking pictures of your teddy bears. Try using
your flash on and off, for incredibly different illuminated photos.
Watch
out for the dreaded flower pollen!! It will stain your bear.
Invest
or create a prop of some sort so your teddy bear can stand.
Resale
shops or rummage sales at churches are a great place to search for
infant clothes which may fit your teddy bears.
Try
several shots and have fun. :)
