Special Features: Sedum 'Purple Emperor' has gorgeous purple foliage that really looks striking in the garden. This sedum is short enough that it looks great towards the front border along with a
colorful creeper in front. In the picture there is an ornamental oregano growing at the base of the Sedum 'Purple Emperor' with taller white coneflowers & daylilies towards the back. Another great feature of Sedum 'Purple Emperor' is that it attracts butterflies but doesn't seem to be on the menu of furry critters.
How Difficult To Grow? Very easy to grow as long as the spot doesn't stay wet. Sedums don't do well in wet soils.
