| Put your seeds in a paper envelope, place envelopes in a glass jar, coffee can, plastic shoe box, anything with a fairly tight lid. Make a packet of powdered milk in a paper towel (taped closed), put the packet in w/ the seeds, put the lid on and store in frig. I've been storing seeds like this for years....so many in fact, DH bought me a second hand frig so he didn't have to dig thru tons of containers of seeds to get to food.....now he's not allowed to put food in my seed frig |

| I save all my seeds in the freezer.
I make paper seed packets for them and then seal those in ziploc baggies making sure to flatten out any extra air before shutting it. I've never had a problem with moisture but once... back in the beginning I tried to save melon seeds in the fridge, they were not dry enough and eventually they molded... mutated... and walked away. saving in the freezer I have never had a problem though and also I then don't have to worry about stratification periods. |
