Easy Cheese Bread Recipe

Recipe submitted by Harleygal - Pam

Quick, easy and tasty! Great with chicken or tuna salad or just plain!

2 cups Bisquick or Jiffy Mix
3/4 cup water
2 beaten eggs
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar

Stir together mix and water with wooden spoon or whisk until smooth. Add beaten eggs, dry mustard and 1 cup grated cheese. Beat by hand until well blended. Pour into greased loaf pan and sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup grated cheese on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. I lightly butter the top while it's hot. Cool in pan about 7 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack to finish cooling. Wrap in aluminum foil when cooled.
