Pros: good for smaller gardens like mine

Cons: what if I get a wild hair and start a tree in my garden?
Really liked it

Would purchase again but it'll take me a while to fill it. I have given this as a gift to other gardeners.

Pros: Environmentally conscience choice

Cons: don't know much about sugarcane products for long term storage capabilities
Great idea (never had this book- but I love it)

Recycling is a big part of gardening.... We all have times in the garden when we need to "improvise" with items we already have.  For eg...cut up blinds as markers, yogurt containers as pots etc... Also as gardeners we have a big responsibility to keep the earth healthy that we use.  Sometimes that can mean reusing, recycling(composting), and making conscience choices of what we sow we will reap...
This book is an example to us all that shows we have an affect on others lives when we garden.  After all, our children eat the food we grow and have to use the soil that we leave behind.  This book is an insipration to make the most of what we are given.
Plus...who doesn't love hummingbirds:) I want it.
