Bought this plant in spring, I love the way the flowers arch on the plant. I've yet to find any problems, and it seems to be growing well in my shade garden

Gooseneck Loosestrife

This plant was growing at the house we bought over 17 years ago.  I didn't know at first what it was.  I researched it and read that it is terribly invasive.  I have since moved it into several different locations and shared it with some friends.  I absolutely LOVE IT!  The blooms are beautiful and long lasting.  It grows well in various conditions.  I have decided to judge "invasiveness" for myself.  I would recommend this plant.

Cons: Likes to take over your garden!

My mother-in-law gave me a start of the Gooseneck.  I just love it!  It seems to do well most anywhere.

i am partial to the gooseneck...it is very hardy, reliant and disease resistant.  the one drawback is that it is indeed invasive.  if you have a spot for it, get it.  very showy so i forgive it for not having a terrific fragrance.
