The Euonymus 'Emerald Gaiety', Euonymus f. 'Emerald Gaiety', has deep green leaves edged in sparkling white. The leaves are tinged with pink in winter. This evergreen shrub has a dense erect habit and is excellent for small hedges and foundation plantings. Plant in full sun. Emerald Gaietys can become a climber if supported. It does not like high winds but is otherwise very hardy. It does well under most light conditions from full sun to fairly deep shade. The flowers are easy to miss, but it can produce quite showy red inedible berries.

Pretty informal shrub with small leaves, delicate appearance is deceptive. Very robust plant able to withstand severe temperatures/conditions. Easy to shape or train on a trellis or frame, I prefer to let them mound and arch and trail, subduing only the most spindly branches

i do like this shrub. it always looks nice and is 'trainable'. they also root very easily from cuttings, which is always a good thing. however, be on the lookout for scale which can be a problem since these are susceptible scale is easy to control. i also like the pink in the margins as the weather gets colder.

Placed this plant to accent some darker colored azaleas. It's filled out nicely and is farily hardy in terms of temp and trampling (on the corner of the sidewalk and kids love shortcuts). Mine has been a slow grower though, has only grown about 10% in the last year or so.
