The Bleeding Heart 'Gold Heart', Dicentra spectabilis 'Gold Heart' (CPBR#0974), is a fast-growing perennial with rose pink, heart-shaped flowers. The blooms look wonderful against its bright gold foliage. Bleeding Heart's should be planted in full sun to partial shade but will also do well in full shade. It is somewhat heat tolerant and needs moist soil. Do not let the soil dry out. Dicentra will bloom from late spring to early summer and is a major attractor to butterflies. Bleeding Heart's are perfect as border plants or in a shade garden.

Bleeding Heart (dicentra) Gold Heart

A really nice Dicentra with bright yellow color in early spring and charming pink flowers. The color on this one lasts a long time, eventually turning chartreuse. Gold Heart doesn't die back like the other bleeding hearts and will last through the season
