About Our Garden Gnomes

Venturing out from behind the garden walls, three gallant gnomes partake on an amazing Blossom Swap adventure. Packed with sweets, seeds & a journal, each of these gnomes has their own destination with several host families. Photos and journal entries will be logged as the gnomes continue to make their journey across the planet. Now, let's meet our three little globetrotters.

Ebenezer And Ingo

Ebenezer and Ingo

  The Beck Brothers
Ebenezer Thistledown Beck and his brother Ingo Finkletoes Beck have been in training for the past year for this event since they both suffer from claustrophobia. Ship with care!

Ebenezer (left, green shirt) is a playful soul that is notorious for switching plant markers around and drinking the beer snail bait. Although he is a stinker, he means well and will bless the garden with much magic.

edit: Ladies, he wishes to add that he is single.

Ingo (right, yellow shirt) is a sweet gnome that doesn't have any flaws except for telling a few little fibs. He enjoys wildlife, working in the garden and eating sweets, but most of all he loves long drives in the country. Please don't let him do the driving. Despite what he might say, his license is not valid.

Zelig Evadeam Brokk
Joining the Beck brothers in their crusade, is their cousin Zelig from New Jersey. Zelig is a common garden gnome. He enjoys fiddling in both old and new gardens. He is on the jovial side and enjoys telling vivacious tales.

Zelig

During most daylight hours, Zelig takes refuge in the nearby woods for peace and quiet and gathers the resources he needs to survive. He’s a very kind and witty gnome and loves helping you out in the garden when the weeds get out of hand.

To find pretty blossoms
I'll just follow my nose;
I might find some lilies
Or maybe a rose!
But at least I'll find out
How your garden grows,
And then I'll be happy
Down to my pointy toes!
  A Tale Of Three Gnomes

So as the journey begins so does our story of three gnomes. We hope that host families from around the world will open their hearts and gardens to our gnome friends. We won't change the world but perhaps it will be a little more entertaining.

The journey has begun!

I'm off on an adventure,
Though I'm just a garden gnome;
I hope you'll help me have some fun
As 'round the globe I roam!

I want to travel far and wide
And see exotic spots,
Just please be sure to document
With lots of candid shots!

I cannot wait to visit all,
And tarry for awhile,
But don't forget to send me on
To share a laugh or smile!
