What no green beans? If I didn't grow green beans my family would disown me. LOL
Lorisa, it sounds like a you have a wonderful garden. I wish I had the space for vine crops, even one of those 45 cantaloupes. I hope all goes well and you have lots and lot to eat and share.

I like the sound of your small garden, maybe you could find a small spot for some snap beans

I love to grow veggies as part of my landscape.Of course I don't need very much for myself,so,a couple of this and that is usually enough for me and a little to share with the neighbors.
Your garden sounds great. But,you really do need to find just a little spot for those snap beans.
Jake,if you want to grow a beautiful vegatable, get one or two eggplants from your local garden center.I think you will be pleased.

I should at the very least plant a couple of tomatoes this year, but it seems I forget to buy them every year for some reason, even when buying the annuals for my mom's garden every spring. Somewhere along the way, I guess I lost my love for homegrown tomatoes, or I'd not forget to buy the plants most likely? Regarding mellons here, it seems only our hottest summers made them a dependable crop here, while below summer average temperatures here quickly made them a flop for a couple of years. They love heat and consistently so I guess. I decided fifty fifty odds weren"t favorable for me to bother planting them here!!
