I finally put the lasagnas together for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner. Now they'll sit in the fridge 'til Saturday. ( makes them more tasty. :D :D :D My mouth is already watering. and the Garlic bread isn't even made yet. :lol: :lol: :lol: bur I think I'll live. :P :P :P :P

mmmm, we love lasagna. I usually make cabbage rolls i on Christmas Eve, but last year I made lasagna, and it was a big hit. looking good donybee

I have to say I haven't had lasagna in years, so I'll invite myself to your house!! I did always like it in years past, though even being a cook, I wasn't in the habit of making my own at home, so I rarely ate it. Yummy!!!

They look good enough to eat.
We'll be picking all day. First we have an at-home to go to where there'll be a buffet, then after that it will be off to the pub and another buffet.
Think I'll be leaving the car keys at home.

I think nowdays , I'd almost think a very thin slice or orange topped with a thin slice of kiwi fruit for contrast and that topped with a maraschino cherry would be required for a "proper" chef "presentation", but I always hated all that fussing when I was a cook, and couldn't be bothered just for my own tastes. Oh well, maybe that's why I'm not cooking professionally anymore. The more color the better, but considering that lasagna can be very colorful in itself, perhaps a less colorful garnish would be in order, like a spring of parsley!!
