Just a few holes in a log and hung up with a suet mix stuffed in. All kinds of birds use it.

Wow they sure seem to love it and it gives them a good surface to grip with their little feet.

Hi all. A lot of birds use it, chickadees, nuthatches and the woodpeckers. This is a shot of the downy that uses it every day.

 :D That`s great kildare. Love those lil birdies how bout it? You just reminded me havn`t put my homemade jobber up this winter. I make a mixture of peanutbutter, cornmeal and bird seed, mix it well and stuff it in every lil hole and cranny of a big pine cone, then hang it up. I love to hear of people takin care of our feather friends.
