the storm is over except for the blowing. we managed to get about 10 inches. to my daughters delight the schools are closed. it is a nice fluffly snow and it is pretty easy to shovel. good for working the ole heart anyway!!

Sometimes I wish I lived in Central Pennsylvania, we have 12 inches so far on top of the 14 we have on the ground. The problem is it's still snowing!   All told this season we have had 59 inches of snow. We can be thankful the first 20 plus inches melted before it started again.

None, not even a cloud in the sky. I could do with a few days off work, but it's not likely.

Yep a winter wonderland out there. By this evening it will be a black ugly sloppy wonderland. Donybee good thing you are retired because you would never go to work until spring.

I guess some of Michigan's snow belt areas have already gotten over fifty or sixty inches of snow this winter already, and though I'm near the other lake, it seems rare than the winds are in the right direction and conditions right for our lake effect to kick in, and you can bet I'm happy about that , since when we do get hit we can get over twenty inches in one storm on rare occasions and it seems it takes days to dig myself out of that!!

We are in the snow belt and getthe lake effect snow as we are on the East side of lake Erie. About the only place near here that gets more than us is Buffalo NY.

We got another little dusting of snow overnight, but considering it could have been more , that was getting off easy. I see however, there's more snow possible again by Wed. and then again by the weekend, so it seems like we're going into a very snowy period, and I don't like that !! It is pretty "unless" you have to go out there into the very bitterly cold weather, and it's also no fun slipping and sliding all winter in the slush , and having your shoes or boots ruined by all the salt everywhere. Oh well, and the first thing I heard from a co-worker the other day after our "heavy" snow was, how pretty it was, to which I replied , "what a mess"!! I guess if you really enjoy the snow you may find this winter a real bonus , so I guess I'll not say more, tilllllllllll!!
