  OH man what a Bike, How exciting!!!
You sure are going to have fun riding that one.B)

So was it a christmas present for you both or just because you needed a new one. :D

I never learned how to drive a bike. I always say I can't drive one cause I would forget to put my feet down when I stop. ^_^ DH says I would only do it once. <_<

He is probably right. It was supposed to be an anniversary present to us both, but was 2 months late coming in. Can't ride it here right now. We might be heading south for a few days between Christmas and New Years to break it in.

I bet you're thrilled Cheryl and I look forward to see you come 'tooling" in to my house come next summer maybe!! I guess I'd not ride much this time of the year however, though I guess there are a few hardy cyclists that ride even in very cold and slippery weatherd?? I've not seen many lately though!!

Last year, it was nice enough to go for a ride on New Years Eve. B)
Not gonna happen here this year. We'll trailor it south (until we find dry pavement) over the holidays. After that, we'll have to wait to ride again until Spring. This bike a lot bigger than the sportster, so it's going to take some time for DH to get used to riding it.

We rode out the old year and rode in the neew last year, but I don't think it will happen this year! Who knows? We bundle up and ride short distances even in winter around here, but the temps are usually in the upper 40's when we do! ;)

I'll bet that will be a big change for you guys! We have a sporty, too and hope to go to a low rider next year! ;)

Great looking bike, hope you really enjoy. As to dropping the feet , be careful. I broke my DW's ankle once when she dropped hers between the bike and a curb.

Thanks guys.
Dony, I'm very careful to lower my feet at a stop and only after he knows I'm going to do it. Harley. :D Nope, don't need any. (I think it's pretty well covered) Maybe a few small pcs in the future.
