I got poop! It was like early Christmas! My neighbor dropped a yard or more of poop on my compost pile! How exciting is that?!

I remember once I was cooking something on low/med heat on the stove in a big pot. Mom thought it wasn't cooking "fast enough" so she TURNED THE HEAT UP TO HIGH BUT DIDN'T TELL ME. Needless to say, it burned badly.

The icing on the cake was when she said to me "Well, you weren't watching it, no wonder it burned."

This is an 'Odd Thread' --- I'll tell ya !
I never ever heard of it put this way either!

Thanksgiving huh?
Well, moms were talked about and I think that we all relate to that one really well! :D :P
I was always raised that Thanksgiving wasn't about what someone got,but rather why your Thankful for what you have! :D

Marimum, congrats on the poop. Only a gardener can enjoy those sh*tty gifts.

Terese, next year bring mini tofu molded turkeys on a stick. If she's going to complain you might as well give her something to gripe about.

WOW, what a nice present. I am sure you are very "Thankful". Wish someone would give me some.
We had a wonderful meal prepared by my daughter at her house (so I am the mom ;) ). Click here to see Crystal cooking. ('http://www.lighthouseseeker.com/crystal.html') The only thing she did wrong was to forget to take out the little bag in the neck cavity. Everything tastes great!
Donybee, I miss my dad's homemade potato rolls. He always made them on holidays. They were large enough to make sandwiches with the left-over meat. :(

What a nice Thanksgiving present! After all of the great food made by my SIL, she gave me a bag of the veggie and fruit peelings for my compost pile.

Click where to see Crystal cooking? I just missed my daughter who was in South Africa cooking but had to have her brave boyfriend take care of the turkey. She does not like touching dead animals. Leftovers from the years she was the mandatory intellectual vegetarian. (I would put a smile in there if I could figure out how to. ) I cooked for my moom and her friends and it was great.
I, too, would like a gift like that in my yard.
