I was watching the birds attack the feeders yesterday thru my scope and I had the idea of trying to get a photo of them with the camera phone.
It didnt work that well, but I got something!
(I even got a video of the starling attacking the fat)

I guess it's time for me to start saving fat, but being that I don't eat hardly any meat anymore , I'd have to buy the fat most likely , since the stores won't give anything away these days here!!

hmm, yummy  They sure seem to like it. I know a lot of people don't like them, but I do love our starlings. I enjoy feeding them cat food in the winter.

starlings are some of the funniest birds to watch, they spend so much time fighting with each other over the fat balls it's a wonder they ever eat any of it

I'm amazed at some of the photos taken with a camera phone. Do you download those directly to your computer?

 My dh makes a mixture up for our birds that they seem to just love! He takes cornmeal, reg. bird seed and peanut butter. Mixes this real well with a tad of water if needed and bakes it at 425' til it`s golden on top. The birds go crazy over it and I hope all the peanut butter he puts in it helps to keep them warm. Love the birds.
