This is one one of the largest storms we've had in many years. As you can see in the photo it's over a foot now and still snowing. Twelve inches more predicted today and another eight to twelve tommorrow. Then a warmup next week to the fiftys.

So Donybee, do I take it you won't be eating your turkey on the deck this year?

We've just has a snow shower pass through, but it's not settling.

My mom, stepdad , and I went out to the Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving dinner, and there was all that ice and snow and slush everywhere in the parking lot, and all I could think of , was that we couldn't have picked a worse day for my mom, who doesnt' walk well anymore to try and manuever all that slippery stuff. I have to watch my step all winter, least I fall and break something myself, and after breaking a hip a few years ago , the thought of breaking anything again isn't a welcome one!! It seems every winter lately I have at least a couple of close calls in the slip on the ice department.

Oh my! <_< We only had a dusting yesterday morning and few passing snow showers during the day. Luckily no accumulation. ;) So it's still coming down for you?
