Thanks for the link. Since I plan to grow a couple of these from seed this year, I now have a pic to use when I imagine the flower in bloom.

Your pixs are so impressive and you made alot of us around here 'Drool' to now!!! :D Thanks for doing that, it does make these days go better and give us something to look forward to! ( I'm sure that people are counting the days till we can get back outside and grow some beautiful things again on this forum --- if not, you sure got them thinking about doing so now )! :P

Beautiful photos Kildale! I finally got to seeall of them with my new internet connection! How do you go about identifying all those plants? Do you research them yourself or do you know what all of them are when you photograph them?

Hi Ginny42. I have about 30 books on wild flowers and pick one up from all the different areas that we visit. For the 'Flowers of Hawaii ('http://dereila.ca/Hawaii/Flowers.html') I posted them in a Hawaii forum (you can see where I put in F under one as I listed them like that, A, B, C etc.) I received a lot of replies helping with the ID.

Beautiful flowers as usual, Kildale. I don't if it will "help" me get through the rest of winter but they were sure pretty to look at. They give me something to dream about anyway.

I'm very happy to say I reviewed the site again, Kildale and it's wonderful, and most likely a very valuable tool for us plant lovers trying to find the names for new plants we come across. Thanks again!!
