all day till he gets home. -_- who know's i may look like an eskamo by then,
or a popcycle. Cause with no car I have no way of going any where but even if i did I would be worried about the 2 dogs and 2 cats here freezing. :( ,oh and it's all electric and i checked all the breakers, and thermostat and no luck.

bundle up  and stay warm
I'd look into getting a back-up, like a wood stove, or something in case this happens again

arcticwolf8 -
Sure do feel for you and trust that things are better now!!!
- just be thankful that there isn't much snow around yet ( things can always be worse huh )? Anyway, take care of yourself and Rowan gave you a good reply to your post , if nothing else, check into something like that and see what all needs to be done to have it and then go from there!!! -

Well thank you all for your replies and concerns. Well i do have a free standing fire place (woodburner). Our only problem with that is our regular wood suplier
no longer sells fire wood. -_- and this year due to rising costs of fuel heat, many of the tree serveses no longer sell the wood they remove but are keeping it for personal use. My wonderful father went to his local er Wal-Mart, and did what they call a sale transferr, basically it's a gift card for the exact amount of purchas of merchandise, and we went to our local store and picked it up and got 2 new energy efficent space heaters, as well as a third much smaller one for the bathroom, not as warm as i woul dlike but every bit helps.

I hate the chills even when my furnace is working and my worst nightmare in winter is having a furnace out of commission. Years ago I flooded a boiler in a steam heat heating system and then the furnace wouldn't work, and of course it was the coldest weather of the whole winter, and all those heating guys were too busy to even come for another twenty four hours. By the next morning the temps. indoors were in the thirties, and thank God my electric was still working to try and heat my tropical fish aquariums, and those poor heaters couldn't keep up. I've never spent a more miserable night and as mentioned before I can't sleep with a cold nose, and couldn't cover my face with the zillions of covers I'd piled on the bed, so even that many covers didn't help. I thoroughly understand ,what it feels like to be cold, and I hope your furnace is soon working again. The thought of losing my furnace in the winter makes me cringe!!!
