Shows I love but never seem to have time to chat about with ya guys...

ER

Oh my god, they kissed!!!!!! Did you guys see that?!? Oh sure  it took a year but I knew Abby & Lucca would get back together. Now -_- they might not rush into things..Nah, they'll want to drag it out for more ratings, but I'm so happy. :D :D :D k, nuff of that.

Two And Half Men
I know..late  ^_^ Did anyone watch the Halloween episode? LMAO Oh, that was really good with Charlie thinking he was jewish  and then their mom being a witch. too funny <_<

Desperate Housewives

What's up with that pyscho nut being in the basement. I heard he was fired from the set so they are looking for a replacement. I don't find that storyline that interesting. My favorites are Lynette & Gabrielle.

Well, that's about all I watch during the week. What about you? <_<

terese

The kiss was cool. but it found the scene where ray got his butt kicked was the highlight for me. -_-

I can't seem to get into Desperate Housewives.

boo
November 17th, 2005, 05:03 PM
Oh yeah, I forgot about Ray. Maybe now he'll keep his peeper in his pants.
What do think about the new nurse from Third Rock? I can't remember her name  I didn't think she would make a good fit but so far she isn't so bad. Her character is rather annoying at times but she is much better than that poodle head that Lucca was seeing. Every time I saw her I thought, Freaks & Geeks. It was hard for me to take her seriously when she had played a moody 14 year old the season before.

terese
November 17th, 2005, 05:11 PM
I like Ray, but it was still great watching his a$$ kicking.

Nurse Third Rock scares the bejesus outta me. -_-

Freaks & Geeks Nurse doesn't bother me...but it bothers me that she has a 'new' son.

every time i see Neela i think 'Hey, where's her soccer ball?'

Umm... I don't watch too much tv, but I'll throw my 2 cents in :P :

I don't watch ER anymore.

I haven't watched 2 1/2 Men in forever.

I don't watch Desperate Housewives....because I don't want to become one....not saying that you (Boo & Terese) are! <_< ;)

Uh..what I did watch, the season is over (bummer!): The Ultimate Fighter. I don't know... there's just something about seeing guys beat the living daylights out of each other that really turns me on! :D Uh...yeah, anyhoo! ^_^

I just mostly watch anime that's been downloaded off the 'net. OOh! We saw Howl's Moving Castle! Looooved it! :D :D

Sorry, I'm such a party pooper! :P

 Two and a Half Men. Haloween was great. didn't they look cute as monkey from Oz? I liked the one where Marten Sheen played Roses father too. Guess I loved them all!
Don't alway watch Er. The one was sad when the baby chip died.
Alway watch Desperate Housewives, Hope & Faith, Ghost Whisperer and Survivor!

MaryG

Must Sees:

Survivor
Coronation Street
2-1/2 Men - Charlie Sheen is great and so is the guy who plays his brother
CSI (the origional) and NCIS
Some of the Law&Order shows
The new show with Henry Winkler - Out Of Practice - quite funny

I do watch a lot of TV in the evening cause there's nothing else to do here except nerd around on the computer.

I'm not a housewife. -_-

Ooo ichi which did you like more spirited away or Howl's?

And a ugly little thing he is!!!

Ichi!!! It's you are what you eat, not what you watch!!! :P

Haloween was great. didn't they look cute as monkey from Oz?

   Yep, they sure did. Come with me my little monkeys!

Charlie Sheen is great and so is the guy who plays his brother

I agree Mary. I can't say Charlie is a real good actor, but he has an entertaining appeal. Jon Cryer (brother) is great   He hasn't changed much from Pretty In Pink.

The new show with Henry Winkler - Out Of Practice - quite funny

I think that show has a lot of potential too. I've been watching it and it seems to get better. Only thing that bugs me is Regina's character. Apparently to play a gay woman it means walking around like you have a corn cob stuck up your butt.

Give me a good book anytime and you can watch your tv.Some of my favorite authors, David Baldacci, Mary Higgins Clark, and the Kellerman's husband and wife. There are many more ,as long as they write good mystery or Police storys. I do watch some of the food shows and a garden show now and then.

erdine
November 17th, 2005, 07:49 PM
I always liked the Kellerman's, but have found some of the books have gotten really gory and sort of out there.same as Kathy Reich. I was liking Sue Grafton's too, but they got to be too much alike.
I love CSI, Cold CaseWitthout a Trace, mostly cop shows. I'm a real mystery freak.
I like 21/2 men, and there's a Canadian show called Corner Gas, I get a real kick out of that one. and my favourite of all was Sex and the City.

MaryG
November 17th, 2005, 08:34 PM
Oh I forgot about Without A Trace - that's a fave too.

Boo I agree about the "angry gay woman" charactor from Out of Practice, she is just a bit too edgy for me. Also the older brother - I find it a bit of a stretch for him to play such a ladykiller.

Ooo ichi which did you like more spirited away or Howl's?

Gosh...I dunno! Howl's is kind of a love story. But I thought Spirited Away was too, you know between Chihiro & Haku. Or maybe I just wished it. I really loved them both (movies)! Such loveable characters in both movies, to me anyway. :P

Ichi!!! It's you are what you eat, not what you watch!!!

I sapose you're right. :P So does that make me a chicken, if that's what I eat?? ;)

boo

that takes a lot of imagination. :o

I think spirited away was a love story too... ^_^

So spirited away had the little dust mote things who ate candy for lunch; what did Howl's have?

Ichigo
November 18th, 2005, 01:42 PM
Well....Howl had a moving castle. ;) Umm....there was a scare-crow guy (turnip head) who followed Sophia around. Oh and these sludgie-looking guys. I don't want to give anything else away! ;) :P It was great, I hope you get to see it soon! :P

Let's see - CIS, NCIS, George Lopez (I love that guy), Cold Case, Without a Trace, Close to Home, Ghost Whisperer, Hope & Faith, Survivor. I watch way too much TV. But DH doesn't get home until late so I sit and watch TV or read. The Kellermans are one of my faves too. Also enjoy Anne Rice, Clive Cussler, and Diana Gabaldon and many, many more too numerous to list. In the process of having a bookcase built by my Dad to hold them all.

My favorite show is 24 it has not started yet. The others are Desperate Housewives, House, Without A Trace that is about all I have time to watch. But there really nothing much watching anymore. TV use to be creative entertainment. I do not like most of the shows.

Has anybody noticed there is a lot of supernatural shows on this year. What is that all about?

Are there others besides Medium? I guess I don't pay much attention to them. I tried to watch medium one night, but I found it more gory than interesting.

Oh yes  It came as a total surprise. When she took him aside, I was sure she was going to dump him. He even had on his uhoh I'm going to be dumped face.

Speaking of sleeping, I watched The Terminal last weekend. ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz -_-

The premise for The Terminal gave me a clue not to bother with it. -_-  Sorry you had to go through that Boo.

Yeah, there's another (and more, i'm sure), called 'Ghost Whisperer'. My mom tries to get me to watch it every week. I just can't bring myself to do it. The title alone is a turn off for me! I'm pretty picky about what I watch.

MAN! I'm totally out of the loop in this thread!

Yep, I know what you mean,Dandy. I just like to throw my two cents in where it's not needed. ;) :D

I agree with this statement 100%! I'm out and don't even care about getting in! ( Don't we all have our own problems to deal with, let alone take on another problem from a T.V. program )??? - just a thought -

What don't you guys understand? <_< They are characters on ER and I was talking about this weeks show. :)

( Don't we all have our own problems to deal with, let alone take on another problem from a T.V. program

That's the point of tv right? To be able to leave our reality for a while?. To get a break from our problems? I don't believe anyone here is going to lose sleep over Abby's new pregnancy.

There isn't much to pick from, but from past tv posts  I don't think we'll find much that we'll share an interest in. HOWEVER  your welcome to "throw your two cents in where it's not needed" anytime you want. ;)

Sorry to have put your show down (ghost whisperer),Sneezie. -_- :P
Did you know that, that show is based on a man's life? I know Jennifer L. Hewitt plays the role (another reason I can't watch it). But, yeah, sapposadly, it's based on some man's life. So I hear anyway...... :P

I like Rafe. What did you think about Cindy keeping the car for herself instead of giving 4 cars to the other players? I think it was a bad move on her part. I would have given the cars to the others for 3 reasons:

1. To break the "curse" of the car winner never willing the million.
2. At this stage of the game it would be a very smart move to make.
3. How often in your life do you get a chance to be that generous?

What would you have done?

Guess, somethings never change huh?
It isn't the fact that I dislike those shows ( those people are laughing going to the bank getting $$$ )! I just don't care for those type of programs in my life ( I realise that some people enjoy them and wish them well )! I think that T.V. has become a big influence on people today! Look at whats on it, then look at the way some people act in life! ( some people act that way --- be honest now! They think its ok because people on the T.V. act like that and think its ok to be doing that everyday )! <_<
- It seems that we all went asleep one time and when we woke, everything changed and got dumber with no end in site! -
( leaves a question or two in my mind because I'm human and here on this world just like everyone else )!
Phil :-) B)

good example:
Jerry Springer, how the world that guy stays on the air is beyond me!
Some other talk shows to are getting the sameway!
( a disgrace to the human race )!!!

Ichigo
December 11th, 2005, 01:27 PM
Actually, I don't think Jerry Springer is on anymore. Only reruns.

Anyhow, these shows that our fellow BSers watch, aren't smutty in a long shot compared to Jerry Springer!!

Boo, I'm sorry I even said anything about your shows (or anyone else's!)!!

I only watch survivor occassionally but I did see that episode and I hav to say it would be a tough choice keep the car or give the others a car. I guess it would depend on how badly I needed one. She could have given the others each a car and they still voted her off then she had nothing. At least this way even if she doesnt win she doesnt leave empty handed.

I love CSI, NCIS, and Lost. I watch Desperate housewives, ER occassionally and I think that is about it. Oh I watch Ghost Hunters on Sci Fi when its on and I like the English (Brittish?) version as well. I think its called most haunted or something like that. not too bad except that ditsy blond freaks out at every little noise its kind of rediculous. and yes I do watch Ghost Whisperer. Kind of cheesy but for some reason I keep watchin it.

I do quite often turn on a show then read my book at the same time
