Yes, they are awesome. I bought seeds for Purple Palace. I would like to find more seed varieties, but haven't yet. I want to add the to my front garden for a contrast with the hostas and ferns, etc. Connie

I hope mine looks that good too Boo. I brought all the colors Herc that are in the pic. I had the Hostas in place so I planted around them. I did not get a chance to move the ferns. So Ferns will be the first move in the Spring. I am going to get that display if it kills me.

That does look sooo pretty. That's the effect I've been trying to get too, but all my hercs are still on the small size, too much space in between. I'm also adding a few tiarellas in between, but they just aren't as hardy as the hercs though.

Everything is covered with snow now. Hope all of our babies make it through the winter and come back even bigger next year.

Gin, I do not think you can grow them that close if you notice this display has them in pots. I am using the ferns as spacers/fillers they grow slower and the fronds will fill the space. I want it look like foilage overflow.

Buster I got three at our Sedum/Semp place Amber Wave, Green Spice, Obsidian. The others I brought at Lowes and another online Hosta site.

Seeds... I am not sure about I think I heard they do not come true to seeds. But the plants are cheap enough if you find the right sites or sales at Lowes 3.99.

I think we all have about the same plan. I want mine to be mostly foliage and textures for interest. I'm going to plant some Black Dragon Coleous with mine also. And I have some rocks in there as well. I want it packed full of plants. Can't wait to get started in the spring. And just think, by then everything will be bigger and fuller. Connie
