So all summer I've had this disgusting smell on my little walkway and couldn't figure out what it was. Turns out it's my boxwood. It's about 4' tall, lollipop shaped. Although I like the bush, I can't STAND that awful smell (it's very much like rotten vegetation, only milder). What a way to greet your guests!
I'm sure this is a moot point; I either deal w/it, or I get rid of the bush...anyone else have this problem?

I just "twigged" on the fact that a friend has mentioned at least three times how bad those angel trumpet leaves etc. can smell, but I keep reassuring her that I don't find that to be the case with the brug leaves however, and I handle those all the time?? Thank God and I do remember how bad those Datura leaves can smell. Since they're related to tomatoes, it's not wonder they remind me of the terrible smell of tomato leaves. Or at least that's how I find the smell of those leaves, though someone else might think they smell great??? Notttttt!!!
