now i have never seen one of those. we have the usual type of junco. which of course are adorable. do those type migrate this way?

:blink: Kildare our juncos are a dark charcoal color with the white breast. I know when I see those lil buggers round, WINTER IS HERE!!!!!! -_-

Our Junco's are here too.
Sighhhhhhh..winter is upon us today. We dodged the tornados, but we are getting the cold weather . Guess I'll take cold weather over tornado's anyday! :blink:

great photo Kildale, as usual.we have a lot of them here this year, and lots of chickadees and nuthatches. great birding this year.

Hi erdine. Yes we have a lot of those birds around too but they do stay here the year round. Its strange when someone says "I saw my first robin it must be spring" and we have then all the time. Anyway, I got my best shot of a nuthatch this week and posted it a couple of days ago. They are neat birds.
