wow, nice cacti! i love them but now matter wat i do i can never keep em liveing past a couple of years! my luck i guess.

best way to keep em is benign neglect, and definitely avoid overwatering. Just water them really well in hot dry weather and allow to dry out fully before watering again, that mimics their natural habitiat, which isnt necessarily fully sunny.
