An Awesome Storm

I am watching an awesome storm from the window of my office right now. Lighting thunder and the trees bellow look about ready to break at the ground the wind is so wild! :blink:

but i'm one of those goofy people who enjoys a good electrical storm -_-
they always seem to wash the air clean, and all that nitrogen in the air makes the plants brighten up so much.

I woke up to one this morning and somewhere in that state between sleep and being really awake I could hear some loud booming in the distance. Could be since I was "almost" asleep, that that booming was actually right over my head almost with the nearby thunder and it only seemed far away, since I was trying so hard to sleep in for a change. When I did finally get up , it was raining quite heavy again and I had to carry out my trash for trash pickup day, with an umbrella. I almost wish those frequent rains lately would go away again, since my lawn is growing like a summer wheat field lately, and I don't generally have to mow so often this time of the year.

Hope there wasn't any damage. Really sorry the storms missed us, now I have to go out & water.
