We like renting movies but never seem to make it to the store  and pay-per-view offers a limited selection, all the movies on our dish are crap or they play one good one 2,000 times..

Anyhoo  anyone use one of those services through blockbusters or Netflix? It sounds like it starts at $9.99 or $17 for unlimited. Gosh, like I need another subscription to something.

lol maybe I should just renew my library card.

I tried them for one year about two years ago. They were good. I just started renting them in the airport and returning when I landed so I let the subscription go.

At that time it was 20.00 a month I think it is cheaper now.

My sister and her husband started getting movies with the Netflix program last year. They were introduced to it through their daughter and husband. I kinda get a two for one on this system ! ( when they are finished watching, they give me the movies to watch and when I'm done with them - I just mail them back-kinda fun that way because they always get new movies to watch and pass them to me )!!!
Cool deal huh?
Phil :-) ;)

I used blockbuster online last winter and had great success with it. They only let you have 3 at a time but from the time they receive a movie back I got the next one within 2 days. Im going to start my subscription back up now that its getting cold again. So much easier than going to the video store

I have Blockbuster and it costs 17.99 plus tax for three movies. There are no late fees and as soon as you return one they send you a new one. They are pretty swift with the sending as they send you one as soon as the postoffice tells them you mailed it. We've been getting about three a week that way and it figures out about 1.50 per movie. You list about thirty movies on your list so they keep them coming. I always list the new releases first so we get some pretty good ones. I think Netflex is about the same price for 3 but I've really been happy with Blockbuster. In addition they send you coupons to get 2 free movie rentals a month from you local Blockbuster and also every now and then a coupon to get a fee dvd to keep. No complaints on this end.

I guess my brother really loves Netflix, since he's ordered overy ten a week on average for over a year or two now! He's got a "recorder" so he's building his own DVD library .
