Hi,
I went for grocery shopping at Jewel and went to the plant section :D I got some nice plant for $1 each ! The problem is they have labelled all of them as tropical plants, no specs. They are beutiful though. I will try to search on the net for the names

If you post pictures of them, we may be able to help you identify them.

One of them is Maranta Prayer plant. It has 4 leaves and it is in small 3" shallow square, not a 3" pot. I don't know enough about this, should I put it in a pot? How big?? All these plants are in small squares like that am I supposed to give them a proper pot?
Have to figure out a way to post a pic... ^_^

All nice easy to grow plants that prefer semi shade!
The maranta is also called Prayer Plant as it tends to fold its leaves at night.
I would pot this up in good general compost and provide humidity and no direct sun.
Water well when the compost dries on the top.

Dracaenas are easy too, and like a bit more light tho will tolerate shade, but too much shade and you lose the gold dust coloration.

Parlour Palm, well, i have a Howea Palm and it likes it wet and humid, and avoid cold draughts, and only repot when it really needs it as palms hate their roots being disturbed.

Not sure of the Philodendron as Ive never had one, tho I imagine them to be easy enough and preferring more shade.
