Thanks grindle.

Aj was not so good today. He started by peeing in the kitchen right in front of me while I was taking goodies out of the oven so I put him outside and he proceeded to figure out how to climb the fence  so I uh went for a run this morning. I chased him two blocks and back again to the front pourch. He thought it was a game. I didnt want to have to do it, but I cant keep him in a cage all the time and we cant have him getting lost/hurt by escaping so we went to the hardwear store and got one of thos dog run things and strung it up (about 50 feet) so he can run around that when I cant keep an eye on him. we tried it out before I went to work and he was sulking....wouldnt even give me any good bye kissies...:(

OH MY WORD,TPS!!! Your AJ and my Sophie are 99% carbon copies! Sounds like AJ is quite busy, where Sophie is so laid back and motherly to our two other dogs and the two cats. When she was younger, she had a "peak" of black fur that covered her head and dipped into the space between her eyes, and around her eyes. Her ears also were all black. However, that has faded, and all is now brown. Same thing happen to AJ? Kinda looks like from the pics that his black fur may be turning brown like Sophies.

I'm attempting to attach a scanned photo of Sophie...hope it works. First time I'm trying it. Apologies in advace if it doesn't work. I think the resemblance between the two is uncanny!

They do look a lot alike! <_<

Pups can sure try your patience sometimes! But ya gotta love 'em!

AJ will get over it and maybe you won't have to use it forever! Better to keep your fur baby safe than have him get hurt! ;) He's lucky to have such responsible parents! :D

I wish I had a better pic of Sophie. From your pics, AJ looks to have more white on his neck and chest. Sophie has just a thin-ish white strip on her chest. TPS--where do you hail from? We adopted Sophie from a farmer (near Lasalle, Illinois)whose dog had about 14 pups, by "mistake". That was 7 years ago. She's about 50 pounds, and I thought she was quite an original mutt-mix, until now.
