Over time I find my best and most protected spot for my indoor plants is becomming less and less sunny with the encroaching branches of the trees nearby, and the growth on my succies this summer wasn't as good as usual, so perhaps I'll have to find a new spot for them come next summer. Your's sure look good Aud!!

Sure Brenda, make us feel bad. :(
Thanks guys for looking. I really enjoy them through the winter. They do not mind sitting around the window waiting for the snow to go away. :D

;) Love your cute pots! Fortunately, I haven't had to start moving "inside"
yet. But did move my begonias from the yard to the front porch tonight.
Getting an "unusual" cold spell tonight (38 degrees). But it's supposed to be
back up in the 80's again tomorrow.
Have started repotting to bigger pots all the plants that "thrived" this summer.
Can already tell that "wintering" this year is going to require more space and
lights than last winter.

I just removed about fifteen or twenty leaves on that very top heavy Echeveria of mine , since it had grown so oddlly, and didn't need all the extra leaves that ran up much of the stem. Usually most of the older leaves are shed as those grow and they just present the rosette at the top, but with leaves running far down the stem they look a bit odd!! Anyway , the leaves are "curing" and callousing prior to sticking them into some potting mix, so if I have any luck I'll get lots of new baby ones!! I must say though with the cool weather lately, I may find they're reluctant to sprout new babies even in a sunny window. Oh well, I'll give it a try anyway. I do love seeing new babies grow!!

I like the tiny opuntia in the first one, any idea what variety it is?

Larry , it's sometimes seems surprising how many different species and cultivars of Opuntia there are , but there may be a good site with pictures to answer that question and I'll go hunting!!

I do not have a clue Larry. I picked it up in the grocery store last year. It was a little two pad thing for 1.00. It has grown alot since last year.
I hope MrSeedy can ID it. It is very pink MrSeedy it seems to get fatter not taller so I think it is going to be a short wide one.
