Jesse keeps looking at those when we're at Lowe's and there's a guy up the road who sells them, too, and even offers to "board" them after they're done blooming! :rolleyes: I have a feeling we'll have another addiction to feed someday soon! :lol:

Orchids and plumerias both bring you so much satisfaction when they flower. What it especially nice with phalenopsis orchids is that they flower in Winter. One of my orchids is actually exactly the same as yours. It flowers every year from end of December to July :P :P :P

It looks like your orchid is at the end of its flowering period. So maybe it will flower a little later and maybe not the first year. The one I have which is the same as yours has been flowering every winter for four years now.

Very pretty, but even after growing so many and sometimes difficult plants over the years I still resist the orchids, though I do love them. I have relatively good conditions for many orchids , but my watering habits aren't the best for orchids in general. Seems like most folks , I lose more plants to overwatering than underwatering them, and I'm almost "cumpulsive" about the watering!!
