Wanna See My Bloomin' Toes?

I bought a little 3 inch pot of this cutie at Lowes a couple of months ago. :D I thought it was an adorable little aizoaceae fenestraria, a.k.a. baby toes! ;) I repotted it, and I guess it decided to reward me with a bloom!! :wub:

B) Nice toes ya got there Harley! Just be very careful with watering, better to let 'em shrivel a little bit when they need water than to have them actually burst from too much.

What a pretty bloom! I saw the baby toes in the store a month or so ago and was tempted to buy them, but I defintely would have if I knew they bloomed like that!

Those are sure cute, but I've never seen them offered here. I think I've only once seen their relatives , the Living stones offered (Lithops) and those are nice as well.

Very nice and very uncommon, it doesn't look like the flower has anything to do with the plant, or the collection of toes ... :lol:

The flower doesn't look real, does it? :unsure: But it really is the bloom from my cute little baby toes! :wub: They are just the neatest succy!

Each toe has a darker tip on it called a window which is how it's photosynthesis occurs. ;) At least that's what the tag says!! ^_^
