I'm going to give it a try. I remember Mom make what she called Mock Apple Pie out of green tomatoes and I couldn't tell the difference. I'm going to have enough green tomatoes to give it a whirl!

I've heard of that recipe before but it's been called Green Tomato Mincemeat. I have some friends that make gallons of it every year. You probably use it just like mincemeat pie filling.

I was googling for a green tomatoe pie recipe and found this site. I don't think it is concidered commercial. There are some wonderful sounding recipes for ripe or green tomatoes.
