I was gone most of the day yesterday but managed to come back to witness the last 15 minutes of Martha's apprentice show. If the show was anything like the last 15 minutes, it had to totally suck.

I'm sorry, but there is nothing entertaining about this woman. Did anyone happen to watch the show. Did I miss the good part?

I thought you would want to watch Martha. :)

I'm not a big fan of tv period -_- but I did watch the past season of Trumps show.

I also watched the new sitcom Earl the other day. It's white trash mania & I suppose a few things were funny but not enough to watch again.

Its gotten so bad there are only two shows I watch now. 2 & half men & I'll start watching ER again. I hope its good this season but I'm not sure with all the newbies they are bringing on.

Ohh I almost forgot about Desperate Housewives. That is pretty funny. :P

I watch a few of trumps last season but eeehhh.... I didn't even watch the finale. -_-

Oo ER is on tonight. I'll be watching that. My new show is Weeds...and that's about it...but i do have the tv on a lot for background noise.

Sorry cant help with Martha boo. I cant stand her personally so I didnt even bother. i though Earl was kind of funny. (does that make me white trashy????) Im a fan of Lost myself and CSI and yes Desperate housewives and if its not in conflict with lost I watch Ghost hunters on the SciFi channel to.

Nope did not watch her. I am a not reality TV watcher either. I have too much reality of my own.

YES!! Cannot wait for Desperate Housewives, I watch very few shows, House, 24 are my favorite also.

i though Earl was kind of funny. (does that make me white trashy????)

No, I meant that it used a lot of sterotype white trash moments. Do you have an el camino with children seats in the back?

Like I said I thought a bit of it was funny too but I'm still not sure if I'll watch it again.

I don't think Martha is a good character for primetime.

I know I must be the "oddest" person in the whole U.S. , since I've found most folks either love Martha or hate Martha, and though I'm not crazy about her and she often rubs me the wrong way, I still find she has some interesting and helpful information on some topics , so I'm watching her daytime show. Forget her "apprentice" show, as I'm not the least bit interested in that anymore than I watched "The Donalds" show. Reality shows in general rub me the wrong way, since they're a bit too real with all the competition and dirty tricks and back biting of the contestants , and I find that depressing enough in "my" "real life".

True MrSeedy :) I heard from someone that did watch the show that there were a few fights thrown in but it almost seemed they were for the viewer? {{shocking!}} Not to say that reality tv isn't all so Real. but I do agree about all the fighting. Who wants to hear people bicker?

I'll probably be drawn into watching a few shows of Donald since its likely Cliff will watch it. I really wish they would start making more sitcoms. I keep watching myself looking forward to Seinfeld reruns. :)

Whenever "The Donald" comes onto the TV screen my DH starts screaming "turn that off TURN THAT OFF" - sheesh - give me 2 seconds to push the off button will ya? He just froths at the mouth when he sees Mr. Trump. I don't like the man myself but don't throw a fit when I see him.

When I say I don't like "the man" I mean Donald Trump not my DH.

Well...sometimes I don't like him either but that's not the point.

I agree with what MrSeedy posted about Martha. ( I think she kinda got a bum deal recently when she was sentenced )! ( I mean look at it, its centered around money! Just because she happens to be kinda big and a woman - why they jump down her neck. ( they said that she lied - Please, I play the stock market game myself and probably do the samething she did! )- (I don't know all the details about Martha, nor care to know )! I think she's going to be ok ( nothing really seems to stop her much )!
Yea, she can get on someones nerves with her attitude about somethings and all- but she's making some money huh?
Phil :-) ;)

I belong to the "I hate Martha club". Can't stand the woman and wouldn't watch her if someone paid me. Goes pretty much the same for "the Donald"

No I didn't watch Marth either. She is definitely not my favorite person. Although her day show isn't too bad. She's just a snob IMO. And I only watch HGTV and DIY and CNN. It's vary rare for me to watch anything other than those I mentioned. I just can't get enough gardening shows. Connie

I hate to say it , but where it comes to gardening , I think you almost need to "put on the boots sometimes, if only to see one extra plant or get one new piece of information about some new plant, you'd not heard of before or never considered for your garden, and though I find most of the info. on most shows a bit " ho-hum" , since I've already known the same stuff for twenty years, I still find I can learn something new sometimes. Anyway, I'm not the perfectionist Martha is and I do find her sort of a snob, but I have seen some pretty plants on her show , that I"ve not seen on others, and that's all I need. I guess I'm just not very selective in how I use my TV viewing time, when it comes to any kind of gardening show!! Other shows however, seem too negative to me!!

-_- i just don't have any particular feelings about martha, either way.
 i will confess that i enjoy her shows that are holiday themed,
i got some great party food and decorating ideas from her halloween show.

but, i didn't watch martha's new show and i've never watched "the donald's" show, either,
sounds like i didn't miss too much.

^_^ ^_^ i can't claim to be above "reality" shows
(i did watch gordon ramsey's show hell's kitchen), but these two just don't interest me.

You know -- you guys just made me realize how way out there I am! I don't watch any TV, except for the news. I USED to watch Seinfeld, until the re-runs got too much.

So now --- I watch only the news and not much else. Soooo, I'm trying to figure out why 2 of us in this house - have 5 TV sets! <_<

Tuned in because I'm a Martha fan. But won't in the future cause I didn't care for the apprentice shows. I'll continue to watch her other shows. I like to watch: 2 1/2 Men, Survivor, Hope & Faith but don't die if I miss them. (Might pout if I have to miss Survivor) :D

I have a friend from college who actually runs in fairly fancy-schmancy circles. She told me she was at a party years ago and Martha Stewart was there. She said Martha was wasted drunk and hitting on othr people's husbands (evidently, she has a reputation for such).

I hope I'm not spreading an untrue or exaggerated story but it was too juicy to pass up sharing while we are on the topic.

I take back what I said earlier , and I was thinking about Marthas old show , which did have lots of gardening featured! So far I don't think I've seen one plant or flower on the new show, and I hate the "format", so I may not watch it at all in the future. I think it's garbage and a "bore"!!

that would make a good snl skit seeing martha like that bluedog.

i can take or leave martha. she tries too hard in my opinion ...i don't watch her shows, i am a law and order junkie, svu, csi or just straight up...
