this is the type of card we grand childeren get from our plant loving gardening freaks of grandma's

plant the seeds of dreams you sow,
give them love and watch them grow...
for life is a garden that makes room
for all your hopes and desires to bloom.

:D well at the moment i'm waiting for my gran to bring her plants out to mine so i can baby sit while she's on holidays. though the stay will be permenant because she is getting her little garden dug up by the council she's not to worried as they've been going to do it for 12 years so she has nothing planted there that could come to any harm. the only thing she is truly worried about is her copper pot of orchids :(

I think it's great to get children involved with gardening , but for the most part , it seems most of the interest I've seen expressed by the little girl next door is just a "passing" fancy , that would be forgotten the second she lost interest in what she was doing with the garden. I'd not waste my time for that!! Seems the kids like here admire flowers enough to pick them from other folks gardens and long before they've gotten home with them to put them in water, they drop them along the wayside. Seems the kids are guided here more by whims , than actually interest!!
