OK, I am on this sansevieria kick right now. I should be happy with the ones I have now but noooooo I just have to buy more. For example, today, I saw 3 pots of golden hahnii. I was good, I only bought one, though I have 2 more at home. This one was cool though. It had several pups that were almost completely yellow. One of 'em is totally yellow with green edges. Very beautiful! I bought another bunch of other sans last week. What I thought was a variety in one pot was just one big mamma plant with many different looking pups. They all looked like they had different daddys..sorry had to throw that one in hehe. Some were green w/ light green splotches, green with black/green stripes, and others looked similar to a moonglow with very faint streaks here and there. So are there any other sans fans out there?

Are they kind of in the "snake plant" family?

paintedheather, Yep I admit it I have a problem. But I have a problem with all plants, I see'm I buy'm.

I brought golden hahnii in March it had three pups in the pot. I was kind and gave my friend one of the pups. I also had the Tall Sans with the yellow band they really look pretty in the pot together. I am thinking of putting the other Hahnii in the pot with them. The dark green will make them pop.

I brought a Sans like your big pot it had so many different ones in the pot it looked like the United Nations Conference. One is almost totally white.

So as you can see you are not alone. I have the disease also.

I will post some pics for you later.

WOW that is pretty and different. You gotta love those sports. I have a Sedum with a all white sport.

Have you did any research if a solid yellow will need special treatment to survive, i.e. more light, less water, if you need to remove it from the mother plant?

I believe it is the same care. I saw it in a sans book and it didn't say anything about special care for them. It is called gold hahnii solid gold.
