Anybody watch the first show last night? How about all those big strong men going down like flies eh? I guess the Jim they voted out was the best choice since he hurt his arm so badly. Wasn't that awful when Bobby Jim's (or is it Bobby Jon?) eyes were rolling back into his head when he was sick. That was the toughest first day EVER since I've started watching this show.

:P Hi Mary! I watched it with my sons and granddaughter and a large pizza. Never miss Survivor.
I'm glad they brought back Stephanie; she's a tough competitor. I wanted her to win before, so my vote is cast. It was a surprise to see Bobby Jon like that. Dehydration can do that to you. They were right to vote Jim off; he looked like he was in a lot of pain and in need of proper medical attention. Good thing that tribe has a nurse, if they're smart they'll keep her around. After all, she has all those sick males to fix up.

Survivor huh?
Well,I'll admit that I think this show along with alot of others are highly over-rated! ( I'm not much into T.V. anymore these days because of that reason )! I have seen some ads for Survivor and it really didn't impress me to want to see that show! Several months ago, I started a thread over the older T.V.programs and got a huge reply from people here posting/reading,etc. It was really interesting to see that people watched T.V. programs that were of value! I don't see that anywhere with the television programs of today { NOWHERE }!!!
I remember a time were it was unheard of to even say anything that was not appropiate to say ( they do it today and think nothing of it to )! Look at the way people even dress on T.V.today ( they need to wear more clothes, God ) and its prime time hours to! It seems that everything zeros around sex to ( well, theirs more to life than just sex )! I have nothing against sex at all , there just is more to life than that!
Anyway, back to Survivor ( got carried away their I guess ). No, to each there own about that program ( people have that right )!!! I just haven't bothered with keeping track of that show myself and reality shows that are out today are another issue that I have that need to be helped out ! Ok, I'll be nice and stop ok ?

I LOVE Survivor!! About an hour before it was going to come on something happened to our satellite signal and we ended up missing it :( :( It ended up that we had something wrong with the wires but it's fixed now and I'm ready for Thursdays show. I was really hoping there would be a re-run of the first one before that though.

Yep, I watched. It has been on my "can't miss list" since the very beginning of the series.

On Survivor night if the phone rings my DH answers it and says "It's Survivor night" to whoever is calling me. They always laugh and say goodbye cause they know I won't come to the phone.

Don't forget to watch Survivor tonight everybody - there's a "twist" and a big fight between 2 of the guys according to the previews.

Bobby Jon and some dude from the other team (Kurt? Kyle? Kent?) got into a shouting match at the challenge. It was a food challenge and the winning team got hamburgers, hotdogs and beer. That big Judd guy got drunk and mouthy and was even mouthing off at everybody, including Jeff, at the tribal council. He's a jerk.
Anyhoo - BOTH teams had to go to tribal council and vote somebody off. The dorky guy with glasses won an individual immunity and he got to sit in on the other teams' tribal council too. He also got to assign immunity to one member from the other tribe. They didn't learn who he had picked until AFTER they had voted, he picked the football player.
First team voted off Margaret the nurse, second team voted off Brian the gay guy.

 I couldn't believe they voted Margaret off! When they first arrived, she took care of all those guys who were sick and whinning all the time. Judd is such a nasty person; I can't stand him. He trades food for beer, complains he didn't get his fair share of said beer, yells and cusses at everyone. This guy is a real bully and they all know it. Margaret is the only one with enough guts to tell him off and she's gone now. They'll be sorry, he's going to bully his way right over the rest of them. Even Stephanie won't speak against him. Wouldn't it be interesting if he got hurt or sick next week and no more nurse Margaret to take care of him? I'd laugh, I really would.
I didn't like Brian either. One of these days he's going to start that hand waving and flapping about and fly. Way too many hand gestures for me. Now, before I start getting replies, I'm not being prejudice. (I do know gay people in this area and we get along ok. But the ones I know don't feel the need to "flame" all the time.) But Brian and Judd were the two I disliked the most.
