Ok, is it just me or do dog's feet smell like corn chips? :unsure:

OK--I'll admit it--I sniffed my doggies paws! ^_^ :lol: They smell kinda funky, but I'm not sure if they smell like corn chips!! :unsure: Guess the next thing to do is go sniff a bag of corn chips and compare again!! :lol:

If Jesse has me committed when he sees me with a Frito in one hand and the dogs' paw in the other, and alternately sniffing, it's all your fault TS!! :lol:

As a veterinarian, I have sniffed th paws of many a dog. In fact, I will sometimes purposely sniff their feet and or ears to determine if they have a yeast infection. All feet have a little yeast, some dog's , let's call them the Frito-Lay dogs, have a little more yeast. Those with raging yeast infections ...I can smell 'em across the room sort of like fritos with really old bean dip on them.

So, if you're ever worried your dog might have a yeast infection, give that area a lick, tell me what it tastes like, and I'll deliver a diagnosis.

I hate to say this , but I've always been a bit hesitant to smell dogs feet as they sometimes have a habit of stepping into their own "you know what", and I dont' care to have my nose that close to that!!! Never heard of the corn chips!!

Frankly, wonderdog's feet don't bother me as much as his breath and some
of his other bad habits.
