One of these hanging baskets has petunia seeds which cost me 95 cents each. The other cost me about 1 cent each.
Which is which and were they worth it?

They're both beautiful and I couldn't tell you which was which, but I kind of favor the ones with the darker centers. ;)

Next time I'd buy the cheaper ones. Higher priced doesn't always mean better.    Just like bigger is always better either.

They are so similar that I'd go with the cheaper seeds. They are both beautiful.

The one with a center has me leaning that way...Which one can you get a wift of? I have a purple and white Petunia that I really dislike more than all of them gowing, but it was a baby...
Here's my ice cream maker bucket that I bought not to make ice cream...glad I kept it...I had it ouside for years and other than a few scatches...it's in great shape. It was perfect for my Begonia that's still in a clay pot. I like finding solutions.
I met this really cute guy who's from England who with his dad marketed a hanging basket that's on some kind of arm. I should look him up. He does flower shows and stuff but also sells alot of moss in sheets.
What else is in the planter?

Nice begonias Yellow.
The second picture shows the 95 cent ones. Had I realised they were that expensive I would have pointed it out to DW before she bought them.
The dearer ones are trailing petunias whereas the others are bedding petunias, but 8 seeds for over ?3 well.....

Now I can see the difference with the growth pattern...but I have a feeling you will notice something in a few weeks. Maybe that will give you an idea for next year... Have you grown them in baskets...just doesn't seem to be enough space over the years for them in baskets.
Our summers are hotter in parts of the US so maybe it wont happen but if that's a wave it should be almost non-sot where almost any other shave to be cut back because they max out.
How have you been preparing for that if it happens over where you are? Dead heading/ pinching.
