Those spiders are ALL over my house, I have to beat them down with a broom all summer long or else I would be smothered!

I'd be movin' out if I had spiders like that all over my house!! <_< Of course, I'd have to be really fast to beat Jesse out the door!!

I guess you get used to it after a while. Every morning when I let the dog out I get a face full of web! That same spider has been there all summer and even after knocking that web down every day, it's back again the next morning.

Yep, I have tons of those in and around my house too. They're good to have around though, you know, because they eat a lot other yucky little bugs. And that's okay by me! :P
Plus there's that old wives' tale, about having spiders in your house will bring you money. One can never be too sure. ;) Has anyone else heard of this 'tale'?

I've got hundreds of wolf spiders around my house. In the spring, they give birth to thousands of little babies which ride around on their back untill they are big enough to go out and terrorize people on their own. There is even this one that lives in the garage above where I feed the pets and comes down for a looksee each morning. The first time I noticed him was about one inch from my face hanging at eyeball level. Now I just know where he (actually, probably a she, right?) comes down and work around that spot.
I should name her Charlotte. Perhaps she would spin large garden signs for me bragging about how radiant and humble I am?

I have lots of these type of photos. Here's a spider taking care of an Ear wig. So they do get rid of some of the unwanted.

That's funny...they never hang out in my garden. That's it! I'm relocated the next big spider I see hanging around! --To my garden that is.

Keeping up with the spiders, I took this one today. It amazes me that the spider just lugs this thing around when its trying to hide.

I should of mentioned that I was just going to take a picture of this small hover fly. As I was getting ready it move backwards and I thought great, its more in the open now. I took a couple of shots and then noticed the spider had it and it was quite dead. So I took a few more of course.
