Here is a couple pics of 2 new pink & white Plumeria my DH has brought home over the last month. I tell ya he knows how to look for these guys and has no problem knocking on someones door or going into a business to ask for a cutting.
This one is a small flower-opens to about 1"-1.5" and has a nice sweet scent, and has 3-6" branches coming out around the inflo.

This one is a bit larger Pink & white flower, about 2.5"-3" across and has a real strong Plumeria scent. Love how the yellow center turns orange as the bloom ages!

Gorgerous , is all that I can say, and I only wish mine could grow a bit more before winter sets in , but I'll not do as I did the first year with the other one I had , when I kept it growing all winter under the gro-lites, but that one was an unrooted cutting and a bit wobbly in the pot when fall came , so I kept it growing all winter. Last fall however after losing many leaves after comming in , that one suddenly started growing again and that's when it developed the rot ! I should have cut the water , when it dropped the leaves and not encouraged it to start growing again by giving too much water , most likely.

MrS,
You should have no problem with your plumies over winter now that you know to let them sleep and no water!
Thanks for the kudos boo, Terese, decompost & HarleyGal!
Look out next spring for some give away games, I have way too many plants and have a bumper crop of seedlings that I have no room for. BTW boo, yes that is 1 of 3 mushroom gnomes that reside on that shelf, here is the small clan.

Dandy,
If it wasn't so hard and take so long to get a cutting into Canada I would send you one.
gonzer,
I hope the DW isn't too upset about that beauty you pick up! Wow, love that star shape and color of 'Tom's Red', what is the scent like?
Ceej,
I'll let Gary know you give him an 'Atta boy'! He found the last one at this apt. complex he use to work for and he had to take a VOE to them laast week & asked the office if he could get a cutting. They said sure and he brought home 2 but they are short sticks & green and don't know if they will take. If they don't he said he would go back and ask for another one making sure he gets gray wood!

Thanks all for the good words, wish I could take credit for there beauty! :P
Clams,
Ya know he drives all over these parts of central FL but found these 2 not far from home. The one person was outside and he offered up a rooted cutting for the large of those 2 pics but they passed as they were renters and didn't know what they had. The other person he just asked for a small cutting of the small pink and they said sure, he forgot to ask if they knew what is was! Have 2 more new ones to show that he found the other day on the road, one is star shaped, almost pink and the other is a darker, grainy pink.
gonzer,
They didn't know what they were, I have no clue what they are, the family tree is a large one on these guys, so your guess is good as any one I might have! He knows pinks are my passion but I need to get a more diverse coloration going on here, like more rainbows, reds, oranges. I have a few whites and that is plenty for me and some day I will find another yellow that isn't Aztec Gold! Wait I take that back, he bought me a Penang Peach for our anniversary so I have enough yellows in the yard. I love the reds but they are hell to root or is that rot?! :P

WOW Maynard!!!! So yesterday HAD some WOOOHOOOOGOOD FOR ME in it too???? I'm LOVING these plumies you two!!!!
I was out in the yard and looked at my Dwarf Singapore Pink.... arghhhhh RUST!
So it's in "quarantine" right now on the bench.... bad bad rust!!!!
Everything else is just mocking me with green leaves with the exception of the Miss Suki... she's still putting out blooms!
How can you NOT just let everything to to the wind when PLUMIES grab your attention??
THAT IS WHAT got me in trouble in the first place>>>PLUMIES!!!
