I've had one dickens of a time getting any pictures this year, but I finally caught this female at the instant she noticed me... She flaired up and flew off... I can only stand to sit in this bent forward position with my finger on the shutter for short periods of time, but I'll keep trying... ;)

Well... Now its "peek-a-boo birdie"... This is the same female rubythroat as the picture above... Problem is, she knows I'm there now, and instead of avoiding the feeder, she just lands on the opposite side and peeks around to see if I'm there once in a while... There was a male there when I opened the front door this morning, so I hope I can get some pics of him... Here she is "peeking" at me... :rolleyes:
