She bought me this Gnome as I had a light stand where the light had got broken by my grandson, of course, and she thought it would be cute on it. Only thing is she left the price of $2.44 on.

It's my first and only Gnome, I hope.

I like it ! What a lot of given pleasure for such a small amount !

A long time ago, I saw a cartoon of two gnomes. One was sitting on a
toadstool with a fishing rod, a bit grumpy, and the other was
holding a flute and saying, "I look good, but you look really silly!"

A house I stayed at in Queensland had a gnome at the top of the steep stairs to
the wooden deck (a feature of Queensland houses, to catch breezes)
who looked at you very crossly and gave you that terrible two finger salute,
but he did make you smile as you paused for breath, panting.

I think that's all my gnome stories exhausted now.

That's cute Sash! What's a house without a gnome. ;)

I just had a thought. You know how people bury a statue in their front yard to bring a buyer to their home. Perhaps the reason my house has not sold is because there is no gnome in the yard. I may have to remedy that soon.
Sas, let me know if someone comes around wanting your home or even the gnome. He is cute, how sweet.

what a thoughtful gd you have Sash:rolleyes: goes to prove as always, it's the thought that goes with a gift, not the price tag

That's a really cute one - and a bargain, too. She's a good shopper!

Yes she is a very thoughful little girl, Grindle. Joclyn, I'm not a gnome person either but acted like I was. Galu, I'll let you know if someone come knocking and wants to buy my house. Blue, I'll send you one for Christmas.
