Star-Telegram.com | 08/31/2007 | A favorable climate for pot busts (http://www.star-telegram.com/metro_news/story/219301.html)
Hope this link works. In the past couple of months DEA and police have discovered 6 marijuana farms. 4 of which were within minutes of our house. Now, friends and relatives who know of my passion for gardening have jokingly inquired if I had a side hobby:lol::lol::lol: Just this past weekend I bought 3 Texas Star Hibiscus plants that I left in the car when we went to visit my dad. When he opened the door and saw the plants in the car he asked - Are those some of your pot plants?:lol: He knew what they were of course cause my mom had a couple in her garden.

Yes, I do believe it qualifies as an herb.
I saw an article somewhere that pot plants had been popping up in a prison exercise yard. Seems it was brought in with the sod they layed down. Even the prisoners were reporting it!

I once saw a pot plant growing in a crack in the parking lot in the Buffalo Provincial Park in Alberta. Also my DH found a small plant growing in a little crack in the back of an old, dirty van he used to own. All it takes is a little bit of soil and a seed and away it goes.

I have an off-the-wall sense of humor, and I've always wanted to ask someone here (anyone) to trade me some pot seeds. Personally I would have gotten a kick out of it, but I'd be afraid how well others took it.:lol::lol:

Lol its funny but i got a similar reaction when I told a co worker i have an interest in plants,'Ooh weed!' (you say pot,we say weed, blow, draw etc-never did anything for me except give me a sore throat! ) Its like when I mention i do photography,'Ooh,semi naked women'etc,so shallow minded. I find that kind of photography boring,a waste of film

many years ago I use to grow pot in my living room window what a waste of time took to long to grow big enough to use and I would forget to water it half the time so I gave up now you can go to jail for haveing it back then they just took it away from you :(

I agree Larry. Clothes help too. It's what's not seen, that is sexy. Not to mention sexiness is a whole frame of mind.

The body shop has a Hemp hand protector that has a faint hint. Smells more like potchullie than.... what could cause a dog to sniff out something in an airport and cause a delay, best to use at home.

We llive so close to where they found some of these that I was kinda hoping they would decide to burn the fields. Imagine sitting in your backyard while that was happening :lol: No telling how the dogs would have acted.

hahaha! you guys are hilarious! I love the smell but all it does is put me to sleep so whats the point. When I was a kid I found a small plant growing in a coffee can in my neighbors backyard. I took it to my mom and asked her what it was. She put it in a coffee cup on her plant stand and 2 days later the cat ate it!! Guess that plant wasnt meant to survive:lol:

The police are always flying around here looking for plants hidden in the fields. Found some last year about a mile or so away.

They've just done their yearly fly-around looking for plants around here too. They found big crops growing on 350 different sites for a total of 19,000 plants!
We're a happy, jolly sort of people in this area.

I guess we are in the wrong location as the only planes flying around here are crop dusting planes!

They just busted a grower over in Macomb Cty., MI. Seems there's a bunch of volunteer pilots that do spotting in their spare time. Hmm... Where do I sign up for the classes?

Years ago I rode home on my bike with my nephew after smoking a huge joint. It was weird and the bike kept stearing me into the middle of the road, and I couldn't steer it back onto the right side. It was scary especially when a car came the other way towards me-I soon pulled myself out of it and regained control and that was the last time I had anything to do with the stuff!

What on earth is Craig's List?
MaryG

Larry it's basically a very popular internet classified ads list. There is a Craigslist in most major cities all over the world now. It sounds dull but really it's very entertaining. Try finding one near you, just pick a close, large city and type "Craigslist - your city name" and you will probably find one. I know there's one in London but don't know what others there are in England.
