This was last year. When I brought it in I should have either kept it dry or at the very least warmer than the 60 degrees. I had it in a bog situation since I grew it in the pond. It died.

(((((((THANKS AUD!!)))))))))) Nope.. I don't have any of THOSE lil cuties!!! They ARE pretty!!!! I have heard people use them "water side" but have always thought the wet feet would be problematic and cause the dreaded ROT. I don't really KNOW that much about cannas other than the few varieties I have and they all are in raised bed or half/barrel situations with no chance of wet feet. Are there two specific types of cannas other than tall/dwarf?

I am not expert on Cannas :lol: :lol:

I read there are Drawf 3', Med 4', Tall 5'+

I grow most of my cannas in containers with no drainage. When I water I do not stop until the pot is floating. I do that Sunday before I leave for a trip and Friday when I return. So I guess basically I am growing all my cannas in Bog type soil.

In the winter they get a glass of water about once a month.

They had some at a local nursery on sale; 3 1-gallon pots for $9.99. I knew I should have bought some. -_-

I'm thinking you'll see them popping up on ebay as us midwesterners pull them up in the late fall..... keep your eyes peeled!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be on the lookout at well!

Thanks Boo but I only brought one thing on ebay. I hate to bid. I want to buy not bid. :lol: I think my most expensive Canna was the Pink Sunburst and Stuggart. at 7.99.

Rich they have to have them in your area. I wonder if we can smuggle you some bulbs in??? Have you seen Tropicanna there?
