Well not ME exactly but this car that I just sold this afternoon. It was a 1981, 2-door, Malibu Classic, dark green with green interior.

Warner Bros. is starting filming of a movie called The Watchmen in September and since it's supposed to take place in 1984 they needed a large number of older cars to go in the movie. Cars that will either be driven around the streets of the movie set or are just parked along the street to add "atmosphere" to the film.

I got a GREAT price for the car, much more than I expected, the men who came to buy it were totally sweet and the cheque was certified and is now in my savings account! What more could you ask for?

Isn't that cool? When the movie comes out I'm going to watch it to see how my car looks. I hope they don't blow it up or something.

my sister had 2 19 68 Baracudas, oh I loved driving them. she raced one of them at the drag races in Victoria.

Sneezie I advertised it on the internet in a couple of places under "vintage cars" and this fellow was looking for that era of cars so he snapped it up. In fact, he offered me full price before he even came over from Vancouver to look at it. He's budgeted to buy about 100 vehicles so he knows what he's looking for.

yeah, she used to race. first time, she didnt' even know she had won:lol:her and her DH raced alot. used to go all over with the cars, up to the races at Ashcroft, and through there.
