I couldn't peg it and swore it was a male. I planted some milkweed and they are still inches from the ground in late Aug. I imagine with her sences that may have drawn her here and I will look later to see in fact. I ned to get out and back to work. I'm such an inabler to the free side of nature. Me included. Can you stand yourself sometimes?

yellow, the color on that monarch is so pretty. Looks spanking new  The ones I have been noticing look a bit faded and some of them have tattered wings. Poor guys but they are still dancing all over my flowers.
Let us know if you find any eggs. :)

I will step outside still working on my afternoon therapy to Gary Neumans..Disconne3tion....a human flamimgo stand when I can on my left foot. It's really worked for me. Just think he known for "Cars" otherwise so much much better. Flight would be nice.
