It's not raining hard (yet? please, please) but it's raining.  I am so happy. This summer has been so depressing because of the lack of rain. :( Watching everything wither away has been tough. Thank you mother nature.
I won't have to water tonight!! yippee :D

Speaking or ironies, the place where I work had a lot of leaks for years in the storeroom area , and last year they finally "fixed " the roof, but now with the new sidewalks and blacktop outside the back entrance, which aren't sloped the right way, any huge downpour sends a stream of water down the back wall outside and straight in the back door. Just lovely , standing there last evening watching the gutters overflow and waiting for the water to come pouring in, but by some "luck" the rain stopped both times just in the nick of time , before the water started flooding the back entrance. I had my mop handy!! Meanwhile and to the point!!!!
Of course I'd spent hours in the heat of the past several days watering everything, but who knows how much rain came down in those two huge downpours??? Wish I could have send at least half the rain we got to you boo, and I'm not trying to be stingy , but with our shortage of rain this summer , I couldn't send it all!!

Sure was great to see puddles in my drive when Im got home last night. So many times it rains all around us and we never get it. I don't know how long or how much rain we got but puddles are a good sign. My flowers have a smile this morning :D :D :D :D

I'm so glad you got some rain! It is hard to watch our plants wither and die from lack of rain. And the farmers need it as much as we do. They are watching our food crops wither and die. Hopefully now that it has started raining it will contunue more frequently. Buster

I'd LOVE some rain. :( I have to do my watering tonite. We're on watering restrictions, so I have only 2 days per week, when I can use my sprinkler.

It's raining here this morning , but looking at the weather radar on TV , you'd think we're getting lots of rain and it ain't so. Oh well , maybe more to come, but it sure is dreary this morning. Yuk, but we can use the rain!!

Glad some of you are getting your well-needed rain. There hasn't been a drop in sight for weeks now. :( Trees are starting to loose their leaves, especially my corkscrew willow. It's looking very sad out there. We have severe water restrictions, no using water for outdoor plants. I have't seen it this bad in quite a few years.
