Don't know the botanical name for aspagras fern..but the mocking bird likes the fall berries. I'll plant them and dig them up later. Layed more sod today....one more loose fern in a bag to add mades me think...The sun is strong than me..I've been working for hours..wish I had some one to make me lunch! It'll be nice today, later. When you do something it changes everything...Here I picked up the hose to water the sod and saw......ants, taken fallen aspragras leaves down a crack, even the dried brown ones.....and I saw a small bag worm..in the front seated bagged fern on the way home....I am such a nerd! A ruthless nerb..I'm going to boil them. LOL well..yea I am.

The most important thing I do and can share is when you cut the dead sod out only..flip it like I did next to a chain link fence where a neighbor can't keep under control morning glories, now my side..and if you see them watering hanging baskets...give them one of your watering cans..because a trick or treat bucket is not good enough..then ask for an extra roll of TP.

I gave a group of finches lunch....boiled ants..some with wings after the fact.... a la carte. LOL

This is how I started my day at work..only to pick it up and move on Monday....I know the dark leaved pilea will look great! I'll take a placement picure later...too much gardening is making me dull! I had fun though.

Never thought I would have to release a trapped finche with it's family worried all around the cage..don't know how it got in.....couldn't get out. Now what, I have to worry there should be a water dish and some extra food until I look again...might now want to leave!

:o Your kidding! I can't believe it was trapped in the cage of all places!:lol: They thought you set up a nice safe place for them and sent that one in to test it out.;)

I really really tried..bought bird food from a ZEN pet food store because..had to take it back..the oilers had a hole in every seed just about empty I said give me the money for the thistle too. Maybe they were pissed, the birds because there was a few okay...LOL..I fed them popped corn..mostly unsalted with no butter and loved it. It's so cute to see birds hopping around on the sidewalk...then all fly away..People walking by need to feel that power..not me.

Yes, that's major aspagras fern....and thanks...It's what's new and I like it over the sidewalk very much.
