It's so windy and I already could have used a support..planted the silver lace or is fleece vine on a porch post from the auction that matches what I have now, to the left...I don't know what to do..other than think about it not being a seat but a place for potted plants...and I really like it where it stands because at the end of the path I have another arch that mirrors....Got any ideas? I really think that's what I should do and if I need to move heavy pots that I can.....just wanted to make use of every bit of sun..with some shadey seats around the concrete pad area.

I think I should wire it to the bench and I already zippy thinged the canopy. Now for a table top.

Yeah a shade plant stand would be cool. I didn't even think of it possibility of it taking flight.
If you use it for plants do you think you could put in another shelf close to the top to hold small plants that might drape down. Or you could have the two containers on either side with vines to go up the sides and put other pots on the seat. I'm thinking a big pot of elephant ears to go on one side to add to that tropical tikki look.
Or you could weigh the seat down with a scare crow that's on a break. Put some rocks in his pants

Oh boo, who did you know.....I got a rock in my pocket today for soild and unbreakable....I can do it... have 3 elephant ears that did very well over wintering but almost too big now to transport home...I planted the other porch support with I think it's dropmore orange honeysuckel...trying to keep public foot traffic off. Looks really good..better then sitting in a pile. I can do a shelf. Good idea!

I can't wait to see it all come together, deb. You're making me regret throwing away the old swing frames we had. I knew I could have done something with them.

I've done that throw something away and need it back like the paint lid to the color of my house that's not done yet....If I'm going to wire the bench might as well make it look like a cup holder. It got too chilly and ant on no clock....

It's "scarlet" honeysuckle....I wished the trash could have kept moving but I put a brach around St John's wart to stop foot traffic at the corner....saw that peice of plastic. It's one of the sunniest part of my garden..cut down a yew that obstructed the stop sign area....much better now with the porch support and a vine.
